The following is especially relevant for those who aspire to have or are running coaching, consulting, and agency businesses.

Top lessons from the most recent mastermind I attended:

Mindset

• Belief: Craft empowering beliefs through daily work. They drive possibilities, actions, and results. Like a freight train, your beliefs will take you somewhere, so cultivate them wisely.
• Interpretation: Monitor your inner world. Are you interpreting events through an empowering or disempowering lens? You are a meaning-making machine that drives your state and outcomes.
• Perspective: In the face of adversity, regain perspective. Reconnect to your vision and purpose. They are your North Star when seas get rocky.

Tribe

• Possibility: Surround yourself with people who dream big and act boldly. They only believe in possibility, not limitation. Iron sharpens iron.
• Centered: Stay highly engaged in the center of your herd (community), playing all out. Isolation kills. Those on the edges get eaten by wolves.
• Divorce: Delete or minimize people from your life who don’t support your dream. If you allow it, their “limitation” energy will pull you down through proximity effects.

Positioning & Marketing

• Empathy: Understand your clients' deepest pains and desires. Meet them where they are and deliver empathy. Show you know what’s going on in their heads.
• Story: Broadcast your transformational story. Let your light shine. People need to see your magic to believe in their own.
• Brand: Strategically build your brand and become known for your special sauce (your “1 of 1” category). Don't be generic or broad, as you’ll get destroyed as a perceived commodity.

Business Strategy

• Systems: Strong businesses are boring. Install leverage through systems. Streamline your operations. Simplicity and reliability bore you all the way to the bank.
• Seasons (lifecycle): Understand natural business cycles and what state you’re in (Infant? Teenager?). Don't make your season wrong. Dips and valleys demand grit and provide growth. They're just there to build new muscle.
• Innovation: Innovate and reinvent often. Complacency kills. Hungry start-up energy sustains.

Money Mindset

• Beliefs: Update your money beliefs. Rewrite limiting narratives from your past. They drive your financial reality. Self-worth goes hand in hand with net worth.
• Accumulate: Understand making money versus keeping (and growing) money. Profit mentality requires different muscle groups. Train both.
• Numbers: Review your numbers with obsession. Millionaires have financial intelligence on lock.

Resilience

• Practice: Build your resilience muscle with intentional practice. Welcome challenges as opportunities to grow. “All things happen for us, not to us.”
• Preparation: Prepare in advance for adversity. Develop protocols to ready yourself emotionally. When you fall off the horse, have a plan to get back on swiftly.

Machine Partnership

• Co-pilot: Treat AI as your co-pilot or sparring partner. Stop trying to be good at what machines are dominating. Double down on your "human" strengths. Do not get left behind here.
• Transformational focus: Machines master information. Humans provide heart. Bring offers to the world that maximize your human abilities, helping another person radically transform their situation.
• Strengths: Edge toward your right-brain (creative) strengths. Don't compete with silicon. Go where it can't (yet).
